A preponderance of plastic pollution is caused by tourism, where single use and dispose methods have been embraced without conscious thought towards it’s grave impact on the planet. At AGH, single use plastic bottles, straws, dining cutlery, bathroom amenities have been replaced with sustainable alternatives made out of glass, bamboo and steel. Biodegradable waste that is collected over the stay is used as manure while farming. Thus, reducing the carbon footprint immensely.
